So you have decided to try your hand on network marketing.
Many people have succeeded in this business and, done right, you could also
make a success of it. There are just a couple of things you need to keep in
mind when you start up a network marketing business, and here are 3 golden tips
from the experts:
1 – Have goals.
As with any new business, you need to set your goals and aspirations
and stick to them like your life depends on it. This way you understand
completely what you want from this business and how to go about it. But you
will also remind yourself how to stay on track and not to veer off in the wrong
direction.
In this business, your goal needs to include that you want
to be the best performer of the company, really push your limits. This way, you
will soon need a team around you that helps you get to your target sales and
incomes.
Another great part of setting goals is thinking about what
you wish to achieve a month from now, 6 months from now, a year from now. A new
car, new house, saving money for a holiday, or sending your kids off to
university.
Don´t just write it down, look up pictures of that new
house, print it and put it on a board in your office or even on the fridge.
This way you are reminded every day of what you are working towards and it will
keep you motivated to work hard.
2 – Have a plan!
You need to put on paper every detail of your business,
where it will be in one week and in one month. What revenue do you wish to
receive and how many recruits do you want to have at what point in time?
Knowing how much revenue you need each month, will also give
you a good idea how many recruits you need, so that is where you get those
figures from.
You need to stay on track with your goal, and make sure your
recruits are part of your plan, so you all work for the same goal and
aspirations.
3 – Prioritize
This third tip is probably the most difficult one of all.
Prioritizing is difficult for most people, and this is mostly because, when you
are your own boss it is easier to procrastinate than to do the job that is at
hand!
Don´t fall in your own trap of procrastination, and stick
with your plan!
Don´t overdo the priority management, go day by day to set
realistic goals for yourself and your recruits.
Make a planner for the day, and when you need to do a task,
do it and finish it. Do not leave it for tomorrow, because you know it needs to
be done today. You will get the best results if you prioritize correctly.
Every person in your network has other priorities and you
need to be respectful of those, but you need to focus the priorities on what
creates the best results for you. If it doesn´t make you money now, is it
really a priority? If t will make you money in the future, how much income will
it generate and how much of a priority is it to deal with it now?
If you stay creative and motivated, you will find that it
comes really easy to generate a great monthly income and you will see you are
one of the more successful people within a network marketing company. Make sure
you surround yourself with likeminded and hard working people, and you will
soon reap the rewards of your hard work.
